Delaware College Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free, K-5, college preparatory elementary charter school specifically designed to help urban students get into college. With a concentrated focus on closing the achievement gap, we ensure that our kindergarten through grade five Scholars are prepared to succeed in the most competitive middle and high schools in the nation. Through a structured, disciplined, and academically rigorous environment, our Scholars master the core skills needed to succeed academically - reading, writing and math. Modeled after other successful college preparatory elementary school programs, we provide an education that rivals that which is found in the nation's most elite private, independent, and suburban schools - an education that is made available from public dollars and is accessible to all children, especially those with limited means.
